All 170 HSN codes used in Indian GST, grouped by category. Click any code to see its description, applicable GST rate, and CGST + SGST split.
HSN (Harmonized System of Nomenclature) is the international product-classification system India adopted for GST in 2017. Every GST invoice for goods must include the correct HSN code (4-digit for businesses with turnover ₹5 cr+, 2-digit for others). The HSN code determines the applicable GST rate (0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, or 28%) and is used in GSTR-1 filing summaries.
For services, use SAC codes instead. Both follow the same structure but live in different chapters of the GST classification.
