Refund Policy
When refunds apply, how to request one, and how long it takes.

Quick summary: If AasanKhata isn't for you, email refunds@aasankhata.in within 7 days of your first paid subscription and we'll refund you in full. Annual plan customers can claim a pro-rated refund anytime within the first 30 days. Refunds reach your bank in 5–10 business days.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to paid subscriptions of AasanKhata (Pro, Business, Premium, and any add-ons) purchased through aasankhata.in. The free tier has no charge and therefore no refund applies.
2. 7-day money-back guarantee (first-time paid users)
- The first time you upgrade from Free to any paid plan, you have 7 calendar days from the date of payment to request a full refund, no questions asked.
- To claim, email refunds@aasankhata.in with your registered email and the Razorpay payment ID. We process the refund within 2 business days.
3. Annual plan refunds
- Within the first 30 days of an annual plan, you can cancel and receive a pro-rated refund: amount paid minus the equivalent of full months of usage.
- After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you continue to receive service through the end of the paid period. You can downgrade to Free at any time and we will not auto-renew.
4. Monthly plan refunds
- Beyond the 7-day window, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current cycle.
- You can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal — see Cancellation Policy.
- We do not pro-rate monthly cycles, but you keep paid features until the period ends.
5. When we may issue refunds outside this policy
We will refund the unused portion of your subscription if:
- We materially fail to deliver the Service (e.g., extended outage we can't resolve);
- A duplicate charge is made due to a payment-system error;
- Your account was charged after a successful cancellation request was logged on our side.
6. Add-ons and one-time purchases
- One-time add-ons (e.g., extra invoice quota top-ups, custom branding setup fees) are non-refundable once delivered or activated.
- If an add-on fails to activate due to our error, we will refund or re-deliver at our discretion.
7. How refunds are returned
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method used for the transaction. Razorpay typically takes 5–10 business days to credit your bank or card; UPI and netbanking are usually faster.
- Currency: refunds are issued in INR for INR transactions. We do not refund to a different account or method.
- You will receive an email confirmation with the Razorpay refund ID once processed.
8. How to request a refund
- Email refunds@aasankhata.in from your registered account email.
- Include your Razorpay payment ID (visible on your billing receipt).
- Tell us briefly why — feedback helps us improve, but is never required for the 7-day refund.
- We acknowledge within 1 business day and process within 5–7 business days after approval.
9. Disputes & chargebacks
Please email us before initiating a chargeback with your bank — most issues are resolved within 24 hours by support. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension while we investigate.
